Booking Terms and Conditions
All bookings made directly with Morzine Ski Chalets or through a third party are subject to the following terms and conditions:
No contract shall exist between the client or persons on whose behalf the booking is made and Morzine Ski Chalets until a deposit or full payment has been received. Receipt of payment shall imply your full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. This documentation should be carefully checked prior to booking/payment. Should your require any alterations to these terms they must be proposed, agreed and counter signed 2 weeks before your date of travel and prior to receipt of your full payment.
A deposit of 20% for catered properties and 20% for self-catered properties is required in order to secure your booking, this is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The remaining full balance of your accommodation costs (including the security deposit in the case of self-catered properties) must be paid no later than eight weeks prior to your arrival. For bookings made with in eight weeks of the holiday start date, the full accommodation cost is required to confirm the booking.
Security Deposit Payments
A security deposit of a minimum of £200/£300 is payable for all self-catered properties. Any loss or damage the property incurs during your stay, which is beyond "fair and normal wear and tear", will be deducted from your security deposit. All properties are to be left in the clean state they are found or you will be liable to have £60 deducted from your deposit. Should the loss or damage exceed the value of your security deposit Morzine Ski Chalets reserve the right to charge you for the excess. Please notify Morzine Ski Chalets staff as soon as possible in the event of any loss or damage as addressing it quickly may minimize the costs involved!
Breach of any of the Terms & Conditions may jeopardize the return of your full security deposit.
In the vast majority of cases the security deposit it repaid in full; Morzine Ski Chalets will contact you with in 4 weeks of your departure date to notify you of the method of payment.
Methods of Payment
£GBP - We accept payment by credit card or debit card online or over the phone (+44 7720 416893) or bank transfer (contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details).
€EUR - We accept payment by credit card or debit card over the phone (+33 606 475913) or bank transfer (contact email@example.com for details).
Our Right To Cancel
If payment is not received in full, on time, we reserve the right to cancel your accommodation booking.
Your Right To Cancel
Any cancellation must be made in writing to Morzine Ski Chalets (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than eight weeks prior to arrival date. Deposits are non-refundable, however cancellations made in writing in excess of eight weeks prior to the arrival date will have the accommodation cost less deposit refunded. Any cancellations made less than eight weeks from the arrival date will not be refunded.
Insurance is strongly advised when booking to cover baggage, personal accident (specifically covering skiing or mountain biking or any other extreme sports you may partake in during your holiday), cancellation and curtailment, medical and other expenses and personal money. Morzine Ski Chalets is unable to accept responsibility for any costs you or anyone in your party may incur as a result of failing to take out adequate insurance cover.
Check in time on arrival is 4pm. Check out time on the day of departure is 10am (Saturdays for self-catered, Sundays for catered). Should you wish to arrange alternative check in/out times we will endeavor to facilitate this but we will require a minimum of 2 weeks notice and have to charge a supplement.
Transfers may be shared with other passengers. Morzine Ski Chalet's clients will receive priority service and our staff will do our best to reduce waiting times in event of delays. (Please note that there could be up to an hour wait in the event of flight arrivals/delays). If you wish to have exclusive transfers, please contact us (this may incur a surcharge). In event of your flight being delayed, please try to notify us as soon as possible. Morzine Ski Chalets may need to place you on the next available transfer if the flight is delayed over 1 hour. It is each guest/client's responsibility to notify Morzine Ski Chalets if any children travelling require a child/baby seat or booster.
All properties/buildings are non smoking.
Morzine Ski Chalets is not responsible for any misunderstandings, damage/loss/theft of equipment or personal belongings between our guests and third parties.
Cleaning (self-catered only)
The property should be left in a state of cleanliness equal to when the rental period began. Failure to do so will mean a cleaning charge being deducted from your security deposit - (the cost to us of getting local cleaners in at short notice and having to delay the check-in time for in-coming guests). Alternatively, we offer the option of a cleaning service £60 payable to a Morzine Ski Chalets staff member at the beginning of your stay.
In-Resort ski transfers (catered guests only)
Morzine Ski Chalets provide a complimentary service for Chalet Narnia and Chalet Sosa's catered clients with a chauffeured mini-bus delivering them to the ski lifts after breakfast and doing a return journey late afternoon. This service will not be available on Saturdays or Sundays when vehicles are servicing airport transfers.
Bikes are not allowed in any properties, whilst we will provide bike storage (except for Chalet Mimi) we cannot guarantee the safety of guests bikes nor accept responsibility for any loss/damage/theft.
BBQ's will be supplied on guest's arrival, however charcoal and gas are at guests own cost.
For those staying in Chalet Narnia, Chalet Sosa and Chalet Chantelle there is a hot tub service charge of £57 per week.
There is an end of stay optional cleaning fee = £60/property.
Please notify a member of Morzine Ski Chalet staff as soon as possible in event of a complaint so we can endeavor to rectify the problem as early as possible. You will receive a 'feedback form' toward the end of your stay and we would encourage you to put down any constructive criticism. Any complaints received after the stay should be directed to the admin office (+44 7720416893)
Should circumstances beyond our control arise, Morzine Ski Chalets will not be held responsible, including, but not limited to, failure of mechanical and electrical equipment, acts of God, war, civil disturbance, acts of Government, strikes, or industrial action.
Morzine Ski Chalets accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident or illness to or of a client or his property or the effects of any events out of the company's control or that of any of its agents, officials or elected representatives. Any help or assistance of any kind volunteered by the company's employees shall be accepted at the clients risk.
All clients agree not to behave in such a way as to cause distress, damage, danger or injury to other clients, property, our employees, third parties or the company name. The company will be entitled to recover the full cost of any damages caused by the client. The company will not accept responsibility for the actions of its clients or any claims made against them. The contract of any client, in breach of this clause, shall be terminated forthwith with no further contractual obligations.
Morzine Ski Chalets makes every effort to ensure that the information contained on the website or in the brochure is accurate. While accurate at the time of publication, information may be subject to change. Clients will be informed of any changes as soon as reasonably possible. The photographs featured on the website are to give a general impression not precise detail. Morzine Ski Chalets cannot guarantee that weather and snow conditions will be suitable for snow sports and other activities. Morzine Ski Chalets shall not be held responsible for any loss, delay or costs what so ever connected with adverse weather conditions.
