About Morzine

Deep in a little valley whose gentle curves stretch as far as the Swiss frontier, Morzine is a village which is keen to preserve its gentle pace of life and authentic Savoyard charm. Right in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area, it is an ideal point to explore the region – of course the ‘big’ activities are skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer, but there is a wealth of additional pursuits from rafting, gliding, walking, golf, and sightseeing just waiting to be discovered! Or, without even leaving the village you will find an outdoor 50m swimming pool complex (fabulous in the summer), ice rink, ice hockey, spas and equestrian centres.
